Transition

After a long time I have something to write. Well you would have guessed it by now, I am gonna write about the US of A and me adjusting in it. There is nothing really to tell you about the adjusting part because you find Indians and Indian stores everywhere in the world and adjusting means accepting the fact that there are lesser Indian around you....thats it.

Well I left for Atlanta on 5th of August at 2 45am (though the flight was scheduled to depart at 2 25am). The flight was an Air france one and I had to change flights at Paris. Bloody hell! I heard so much french in those 21hrs that anyword resembling france/ french irritated me for three four days after the journey.

Well I reached my apartment here in Atlanta on 5th Aug at around 7 pm. The apartment is simply awesome. My apartment, on the fourth floor, is a 2Bhk flat and faces the swimming pool :D :P. There is a gym and free wifi in the building. However, the problem with it was it was totally vacant except the kitchen which has all the electronic appliances you would need to cook. So there was a big task for me and my roommates, we had to go shopping. This shopping wasnt a usual jeans, Tshirt shopping..........pura ghar ka saman kharidna pada. I had never gone to buy so many utensils, toiletries, groceries etc etc together in my life ever. It was boring but will surely help me in the future :D.

Well for all those who have been tortured by vjti's exam section, you will get damm jealous when I tell you the speed at which these people work here. We went to college to get our and to my surprise we got a credit card like Icard in 5 mins with a photo on it. Later we went to the graduate office to submit our transcripts. Our job was done in 15 mins, wow! Now the biggest one - when 5-6 of us went to the office they felt as though a "big" crowd had come in, I wonder what would happen if they were made to sit in vjti exam section at 2 30 pm :O.

If you guys think we are having a hard time with food then you are wrong. Till now we have cooked chapati, dal, dosa, PAV BHAJI, maggie(yeh rozka hai), rice etc. All four of us get hyper excited when it comes to cooking, well as they say too many cooks spoil the brook, this hasnt happened with us so far.

I really didnt think of writing this now, so my thoughts are random and disorganised. But that shouldn't matter I guess, I have given you a overview of what life is like here for me. For life outside keep checking my fb album, once i get a cam there would be thousands of pics for you to do your atlanta darshan.

Signing off.

Ps: ignore errors in this post, i dont have the patience to go thru it again. :P
